Isaiah 40:31- But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

 

What does it mean to “wait on the Lord”?

Where do I need to “wait” for the Lord in my life?

1. Wait on Leaving – 70%-88% of high school grads are leaving the church before the end of their freshmen year of college.
2. Wait on Love – 7 out of 8 couples that live together before marriage do not make it.

• Wait on Worldly Learning – Romans 1:18-32 / Romans 12:2

1. Wait on the Lord – look to God for all we need for our Past, Present, & Future. Look to the Cross…Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus. Psalm 130:3-6 / Proverbs 3:5-8 –
