  5. To Tell the Truth… Day 7

“Jesus answered, “It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents;
but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.”
John 9:3

Sometimes God delivers us from our problems; but more times than not He delivers us through our problems. I’m not saying it is wrong to pray deliverance prayers. But sometimes we are so anxious to get out of difficult situations we fail to grow through them. We want to get out of them so much that we don’t get anything out of them.There are situations we need to simply pray through. We need to ask God to give us the grace to stay strong and see it through. Sometimes we need to ask God to change our circumstances and sometimes we need to ask God to work through our circumstances to change us for His glory. And it may all begin by asking God for the discernment to know when to pray what. I believe that one day I will thank Him for the prayers He did not answer my way because He had a much better answer for me. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6
