  5. To Tell the Truth… Day 18

Holy Ground Part 1
“Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”
Exodus 3:5

For forty years Moses had been tending sheep on the backside of the desert. He must have felt like God had put him out to pasture. He once dreamed of delivering his people out of Egyptian captivity, but that dream died when he killed an Egyptian taskmaster and was forced to flee the country. Forty years later Moses got up one morning, put on his sandals, picked up his staff, figuring it would be an ordinary day just like the day before, and the day before that. But you never know when or where or how God will invade the routine of your life.
We may feel like we are on the backside of the desert at the moment trying to navigate our way through this coronavirus invasion. So many parts of our lives have been put on hold, we are instructed to practice ‘social distancing’ at extreme levels to hinder the spread of the virus, we presently have fewer and fewer people we can interact with daily. You may even feel like you have been quarantined from God.  Of course, you have not. Actually, with many of our previous distractions taken from us, this is an opportunity to spend more time on Holy Ground in communion with Him. We need to live everyday with a spirit of anticipation and hope. Because you never know when or where or how God is going to invade the routine of your life and fulfill His purposes in and through YOU!
Stay alert,
