  5. To Tell the Truth… Day 12

“O Lord hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord listen and take action! For Your own sake, Oh my God, do not delay, because Your city and Your people are called by Your name.”
Daniel 9:19

In this verse Daniel is praying his heart out on behalf of his people who are in Babylonian captivity. Because of the necessary guidelines to deal with the coronavirus invasion, we may feel like we are in a form of captivity. And I believe many have prayed like Daniel – pleading with Him to intervene and deliver us from this crisis. The difference may be that Daniel was persistent in praying. Persistent praying is hard because it is the path of most resistance. Our adversary, Satan, will do whatever it takes to discourage us, cause us to feel defeated, and to keep us from continually  calling upon the Lord.  And this applies to every challenge or need we bring to the Lord in prayer. But in many cases it is the prayers we pray when we feel like we want to quit praying that can bring the greatest breakthroughs. God never over promises or under delivers. He always delivers on His promises. He is never early. He is never late. God is always right on time!
Keep Praying,
Preacher Stan
