Dear Church Family & Friends,

For the last month we have been anticipating taking the next step in reopening ministries in the church. Step 3 begins this Wednesday, July 8th, as we open up activities on Wednesday night. This includes Vacation Bible for the next five weeks in the Family Life Center and ‘Summer Salt’ for youth in the Upper Sanctuary, both from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. I will be leading a Bible Study for adults in the Social Hall from 7:00pm – 8:00pm. On this coming Sunday, July 12th, we will reopen our Sunday School ministry and move the first service back to the upper Sanctuary. At the request of many, we will keep the starting time for the first service at 9:00am. Sunday School is scheduled to begin at 10:00am. Below are two attachments. Again, as with every step we have taken in navigating our way through this unusual season, we want everyone to be at perfect peace in choosing for themselves and their family what they believe is best for them at this time!
Love in Christ,
Preacher Stan

Reopening Sunday School

Safety Preparations of Facilities:

  • All classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and worship areas will be disinfected prior to and after use.
  • Every effort will be made to set up our classrooms using our largest venues for social distancing.
  • Hand sanitizer bottles will be provided for every classroom and each person is expected to use the sanitizer going in and leaving the classroom.
  • Masks will be provided in every classroom. Even though they are not absolutely required, we do remind you that both the CDC and our Governor strongly recommend using them.

Safety Guidelines to Follow:

  • If you or anyone in your home is sick please stay at home and join us live online for worship
  • If you have any underlining health conditions, we advise you to stay home and join us live online for worship.
  • If you have tested positive for Covid-19, remember that you are to quarantine yourself for 14 days after symptoms are gone before going out.
  • If you know you have been in contact with a person who tested positive for covid-19, please fulfill the requirement of quarantining yourself for 14 days.
  • We ask all who join us for in-person worship and Sunday School to stay mindful of social distancing and essential hygiene practices.
  • Even with all these safety preparations and guidelines, please understand we cannot guarantee perfect safety from the corona virus while you are here on campus.

As with each step we have taken to navigate through this unusual
season, we want everyone to be at perfect peace in choosing for
themselves and their families what they believe is best for them at
this time.
