The annual budget for the church was $4,825 for the year 1950.
The first mention in the church minutes of any war was in August 1951, when the Korean conflict and the resulting inflation was noted.
On February 27, 1955, Rev Paul Hudson was called as pastor at a salary of $80 per week.
In July 1955, Brother Truman Rice donated land to be used to construct a parsonage. That building was completed in the fall of 1955 at a cost of $9,318.85. Rev Hudson then became the first full-time pastor on the field.
On May 25, 1958, the church voted to build an educational building, which was completed in 1959 at a cost of $45,500.
