Pastor Stan was born and raised in the Washington Baptist Church community. His family has been active members of the church for 60+ years. It was here he committed his life to Christ and later surrendered to the Lord’s call into the ministry. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been a pastor for 34 years with the last 25 years being the Senior Pastor of Washington.
Rev. Chuck Auten
Chuck was born and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina. After graduating from Winthrop University, with a degree in music, he began leading worship, singing, and playing the guitar in various churches. He and his family moved to the Upstate in 1995, and he has been in full-time Music Ministry ever since. He has served as Music Minister for 8 years at Washington.
Rev. Rusty Freeman
Rusty is a graduate of Anderson University and Covington Theological Seminary. He served as interim Youth/Children’s pastor at Washington for several years before being called to serve as Youth Pastor at Lugoff First Baptist. Eight years ago Washington called him back as full-time Youth Pastor. He and his wife Amber have three children. Rusty’s passion is seeing people come to know the Lord and walk with Him.
Rev. Josh Tucker
Josh was born on Feb 14th in Rock Hill, SC, and raised in Greenville. He attended North Greenville University and graduated from Covington Theological Seminary. He has served in full-time ministry since 2003 in many different capacities with youth and children. During his time in ministry, he has had the opportunity to lead many mission trips to countries around the world and states. He has been to five continents, 42 states, and has hiked 100 miles in Yellowstone National Park. He and his wife Janet have three children and have been at WBC since September of 2013.
Beth began her service at Washington in 2007 as a part-time Ministry Assistant. She became a full-time Ministry Assistant in 2015. She is a graduate of Woodmont High School and has an Associate Degree in Engineering Graphics with a minor in Graphic Design from Greenville Technical College. Beth and her husband Randy have two grown children and two grandchildren.
